Redefining a sport

Hailing from Spain, the birthplace of padel, Arturo Coello is known for his aggressive left-handed playing style and commanding presence at the net.

Ranked World No. 1 on multiple occasions and winner of major international tournaments, his achievements have set a new benchmark for the modern game.

Game changer

Born in Valladolid, Castile and León, in 2002, Arturo Coello Manso began making a name for himself in padel at a young age.

From the outset, his playing style stood out: an imposing physical presence and a strategic approach. Although a left-hander, he often plays on the right side of the court, a tactical placement that allows him to maximize his powerful finishes. Media and fans alike have dubbed him “El Rey” (The King), a reflection of his formidable influence on the court.

A major turning point came early in his professional ascent when he partnered with the legendary Fernando Belasteguín. The alliance offered Coello invaluable experience plus the opportunity to hone his competitive instincts and deepen his understanding of the game.

In 2022, Coello became the youngest player ever to win a World Padel Tour tournament just days before he turned 20 – a milestone that confirmed his early promise.
