Lara Gut-Behrami began skiing at a young age, displaying enormous talent early in her career.

Aged just 16, she was already competing at World Cup level, having made her debut in 2007. Her breakthrough came the following year when she won her first World Cup race at St Moritz, quickly establishing herself as a formidable competitor.

Known for her versatility, she excels in multiple disciplines, including downhill, super-G and giant slalom. Gut-Behrami’s career highlights include winning the overall World Cup title as the season’s best performer in 2016 and 2024, multiple World Championship medals, including gold in both the giant slalom and super-G in Cortina d’Ampezzo in 2021, and further super-G gold at the Beijing Winter Olympic Games the following year. Her technical skill, aligned to a fearless approach, has earned her numerous podium finishes and the admiration of peers.
