Daniel Deusser is celebrated for his exceptional contributions to the equestrian sport of show jumping, known for his remarkable skill and competitive spirit.
The Rolex Grand Prix at Aachen is a class that I always dreamed of winning, being my home Major. It is still surreal to see my name on the big board at the entrance of the main arena, which features the Hall of Fame of all past winners.

Daniel Deusser has established himself as one of the world’s premier show jumping riders, achieving the coveted World No. 1 position multiple times.
He enjoyed a particularly rich vein of form in 2021-2022 when, as part of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, he won three Majors inside 12 months.
Elite rider
Daniel Deusser’s equestrian journey began at a young age, influenced by his family’s involvement in the sport.
His talent was evident early on, and he quickly progressed through the ranks of junior and young rider competitions. In 2007, Deusser won the Grand Prix at The Dutch Masters. This success catapulted him to the global stage, where he continued to impress with his skilful riding and strategic approach to competition. In 2013, he won the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final in Stockholm, and the following year achieved one of his most significant victories by winning the FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final in Lyon, riding Cornet d’Amour. This triumph confirmed his position among the elite riders in the sport and set the stage for further triumphs.
Throughout his career, Deusser has consistently ranked among the top riders in the world thanks to his skill and reliability.
He remains a fixture in the top echelons of the FEI World Rankings, a testament to his enduring excellence and ability to perform at the highest level year after year. In more recent years, he has continued to add to his impressive list of accomplishments. He has secured victories in some of the most prestigious Grand Prix events on the international circuit, including Major wins at the CHIO Aachen, the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament and The Dutch Masters across 2021-2022.
