Unrivalled honour roll

Steve Guerdat sat on a horse before he learned how to walk and has become one of the best equestrian show jumpers in the world.

Beginning his competitive journey in Switzerland, Guerdat quickly rose through the ranks, showcasing his talent at various national and international events. The Swiss rider has achieved the coveted title of World No. 1 on multiple occasions and participated in six Olympic Games, winning individual gold at the 2012 London Olympics aboard Nino des Buissonnets after clinching bronze in the team event in Beijing four years earlier. At the 2024 Paris Games, he added a silver aboard Dynamix de Belheme.

Guerdat has triumphed in the FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final on three occasions (2015, 2016, 2019) and found success in the Majors that comprise the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping by winning the Rolex Grand Prix at CHI Geneva in 2006, 2013 and 2015 and the CPKC ‘International’, presented by Rolex, at the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament in 2021. He is the only equestrian to have won the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Finals at the CHI Geneva three times (2010, 2018 and 2023). Additionally, he won his first individual European Championship title in 2023, further enhancing his legacy in the sport.

The Swiss equestrian has enjoyed an enormously successful career stretching back more than 20 years. Other notable highlights include individual bronze at the 2018 World Equestrian Games™, and team gold at the 2009 and 2021 European Championships.

Guerdat’s unique approach to riding, marked by precision and harmony with his horses, has set new benchmarks in showjumping.
