Worldwide success

Martin Kaymer turned professional in 2005 and gained recognition with his first DP World Tour victory three years later.

His breakthrough on the world stage came in 2010 when he won the PGA Championship after an intense playoff to claim his first major. The following year, Kaymer ascended to the top of the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). In 2012, he was triumphant at THE PLAYERS Championship, one of the most prestigious events on the PGA TOUR®. Kaymer solidified his place in golf history by winning the 2014 U.S. Open in commanding style, leading from start to finish at Pinehurst No. 2, a rare feat in major championship golf. His record-setting performance made him the first player from continental Europe to win this major. During his illustrious career, the German has spent 110 weeks ranked in the world’s top 10 and won 23 tournaments worldwide.

Kaymer has also been a significant figure in team golf, representing Europe at The Ryder Cup, including the famous 2012 “Miracle at Medinah”, when his team produced one of the most incredible comebacks in sport. He has also represented Germany at the Olympic Games, competing in Rio in 2016.
