He steadily rose through the ranks with significant victories on the DP World Tour. He had his breakout year in 2012 when playing his part in helping the European team pull off an unlikely comeback victory at The Ryder Cup with impressive performances in the four-ball matches.
Colsaerts’ individual highlights include winning the Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2012 and the Open de France in 2019. He has been among the longest hitters on the DP World Tour, earning the nickname “The Belgian Bomber”.
At The Ryder Cup in 2023, Colsaerts took on a new role as a vice-captain for the European team, sharing his experience from 2012 with younger players and embracing a valuable mentoring role.
