Camille Rast gained international recognition in 2017, debuting on the International Ski Federation (FIS) Alpine Ski World Cup circuit.
Her agility and precision have earned her notable successes in slalom. Career highlights include top finishes in World Cup events, where she has consistently showcased her ability to adapt to varying conditions and maintain focus under pressure.
An emerging force
Born in 1999 in Switzerland, Camille Rast discovered her passion for skiing at an early age.
With natural talent and an unrelenting drive, she excelled on the slopes of the Swiss Alps. Her professional career took off in 2015 when, as a 16-year-old, she began competing in FIS races. Two years later, she won the junior world championship in slalom, and in 2019 took the silver medal in the giant slalom at the Alpine World Junior Ski Championships. Rast’s career reached new heights in 2021 when she made a significant impression at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy. Her ability to perform under pressure and deliver consistent results highlighted her potential to become a dominant force in the sport.
In December 2024, she achieved her first World Cup victory, in the slalom race at Killington, USA. Rast continues to represent Switzerland on the international stage, aiming for further World Cup victories and podium finishes at the Winter Olympics. As her career evolves, her influence extends far beyond the slopes. Her tenacity and commitment to refining her skills have positioned her as a role model for aspiring skiers worldwide.
