Six Rolex Testimonees and the Vienna Philharmonic have come together for a unique concert marking the 150th anniversary of the celebrated Palais Garnier in Paris.
Rolex and its partners, the Opéra national de Paris and the Vienna Philharmonic, present a gala evening on 11 May 2025, as part of celebrations marking 150 years of the Palais Garnier, a Paris landmark and integral part of cultural life in the French capital.
Six of Rolex’s Testimonees in the arts – Juan Diego Flórez, Sir Bryn Terfel, Rolando Villazón, Yuja Wang, Sonya Yoncheva and Yannick Nézet‑Séguin – join the Vienna Philharmonic for this unprecedented concert. It is the first time that the orchestra has performed at this venue, which is part of the Opéra national de Paris. The programme, conducted by Rolex Testimonee Yannick Nézet‑Séguin, features a selection of music by Bizet and his contemporaries – Massenet, Gounod, Verdi, Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky.
