First played in 1994 and elevated in status as the fifth women’s major in 2013, it has become an exceptional event that draws the world’s greatest players. A grand spectacle
The Amundi Evian Championship is contested annually at the same location: The Champions Course at the Evian Resort Golf Club. Completely redesigned in the late 1980s , this course puts the abilities of top golfers to the test. Located on the shores of Lake Geneva at the foot of the Alps , it offers breathtaking scenery, where the beauty of the surroundings is matched by the demanding nature of the fairways.
Evian is really a very special place for me, and not just because I won my first major here at 17.
